Chillr is a software platform developed by BTPL that allows users to send and receive money using an internet connection to other Chillr Users.
All funds transfers are performed by the Bank based on the instructions issued through Chillr. Chillr’s actions in connection with funds transfers are done in association with Bank and not as an agent or partner of the Bank.
These terms apply to use of Chillr and any services accessed with Chillr.
It is important that User reads and understands these Terms as they govern use of Chillr.
By accessing or using Chillr, User accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms.
We request Users to terminate the usage of Chillr if you do not agree to follow the Terms of Service specified herein.
"Account" means the Bank savings/current account held and operated by the User in any branch of a Bank in India.
"Cellular Service" refers to the GSM/ CDMA / GPRS / EDGE Service provider (for operation of Mobile Phones) / any Aggregator who have entered into an agreement with the Bank for provision of Mobile Banking Services to its customers.
“Chillr” means mobile software platform developed by BTPL that enable fund transfer between Person to Person and Person to Merchant and includes its successors, affiliates, or assigns.
“Chillr Services” means all services, offered by Chillr through its websites, applications, or through any other means.
“Communications” means all communications, terms, disclosures, notices, and statements that Chillr provides to User in connection with your Account and your use of the Chillr Services. Chillr provides Communications to you by sending notifications to registered mobile number associated with your Account.
“Bank” means both public and private Banks with which BTPL or its holding company MobME Wireless Solutions Limited has entered into arrangement for linking and making available Chillr Services to Users and shall also include its successors, affiliates, and assigns.
“MPIN” shall mean four or six digit Mobile Personal Identification Number issued by the Bank to User and which facilitates transactions through Chillr.
“NPCI” means National Payments Corporation of India.
“Terms” means these Chillr Terms of Service including the Schedules herein, as may be amended from time to time.
“Us”, “we” or “our” refers to BTPL and the Bank.
“You” or “your” or “User” means any person or entity using the Chillr Services.
For the applicability of these Terms the User will have to avail the Chillr Services. By registering on the Application for availing the Chillr, the User acknowledges and accepts these Terms.
User should be the customer of the Bank, having a saving and or current and or fixed deposit account authorised to operate singly or on either or survivor basis and who is also a current subscriber of the Cellular Service. The User should have access to the Mobile Phone and knowledge of how the Mobile Phone works. The User should at all times possess the Mobile Phone software, which is required for using Mobile Banking. In case of Minor accounts, only the natural guardian of the Minor shall be eligible to avail of this service
User including his/her heirs, legal representatives, executors, administrators and successors are bound by these Terms. While availing Services through the Chillr Application, certain additional service terms and conditions (“Service Terms”) shall be mentioned on respective service application page/s and the User’s conduct of continuing to avail the Service shall amount to his/her acceptance of such Service Terms and shall be binding on the User.
Chillr as a software platform. The Chillr software platform gives the User the ability to send and receive electronic payments to other Chillr users. All funds transfer services are provided by the Bank, as Chillr does not receive, hold, or transmit funds. Chillr provides the software platform that allows User to send fund transfer instructions to the Bank.
Registration: The Services shall be availed by downloading and installing the Application from the mobile application store. The registration is a one-time procedure where the User connects his Account with Chillr. The User has to enter his mobile number which the Application will verify and send to the Bank. User also agrees to share his/her contact list with Chillr for the purpose of filtering out existing Chillr users. Chillr shall be entitled at its sole discretion to accept or reject such registration requests by the Users and its decision in this regard shall be final and bindin
Accuracy of information. When a User registers for Chillr, he/she may be required to provide information that will allow Chillr to verify his/her identity, including but not limited to: a valid phone number. User agrees to provide true and accurate information to Chillr while registering and thereafter to update this information to keep it true and accurate at all times.
Authentication. Every transaction made through Chillr is protected by 2 factor authentication. Users are required to provide MPIN to allow Chillr to verify your identity and/or your account information for every transaction initiated through Chillr. Chillr will pass on the information provided by the User to the Bank for authentication.
Password security: The User acknowledges, represents and warrants that the MPIN generated by the Bank, at any time, that is either before/at the time of linking the Account with Chillr or regenerated anytime thereafter, provides access to the fund transfer through Account and that User is the sole and exclusive owner and is the only authorized user of the MPIN and accepts sole responsibility for use, confidentiality and protection of the MPIN as well as for the Services availed through the use of MPIN. The MPIN is issued and verified by the Bank and it is neither stored nor accessed by Chillr. The User grants express authority to Chillr and Bank for carrying out instructions authenticated by such MPIN. The User unconditionally undertakes to have MPIN of such number of digits as may be notified by Bank from time to time and to ensure that the same is kept confidential. If the User forgets the MPIN, then the User may regenerate the MPIN from the Bank as directed by the Bank and this shall not be construed as the commencement of a new contract. The User agrees and acknowledges that BTPL shall in no way be held responsible or liable if the User incurs any loss as a result of carrying out the instruction of the User pursuant to the availment of Service by the User and the User shall fully indemnify and hold BTPL harmless in respect of the same. The User shall maintain the secrecy of all information of confidential nature and shall ensure that the same is not disclosed to any person voluntarily, accidentally or by mistake. The User agrees and acknowledges that any loss, damage, liability caused or suffered by the User due to disclosure of all information of confidential nature shall be borne by the User without transferring any liability or responsibility towards BTPL or Bank. The User shall comply with such guidelines, instructions or terms as BTPL may prescribe from time to time with respect to Chillr / Chillr Services.
Authorization to debit your linked Bank Account. When the User links his/her Account with Chillr, he/she thereby authorizes BTPL and the Bank to initiate electronic fund transfer from the linked Account. Users are solely responsible for complying with any terms set by Bank or with respect to their Account, including any fee terms, such as non-sufficient fund or overdraft fee terms. If you are entitled to a Reversal, refund, or other adjustment associated with a payment you made using the Chillr Services, you authorize the Bank to credit your linked Account to complete that transaction.
Keeping your contact information updated. User must keep their Mobile Number updated with Bank in order to avail services through Chillr Application. User’s Mobile Number being a verification factor has to be valid and updated with Bank in order to initiate transactions with Chillr and to receive Communications from Chillr electronically. To update the Mobile Number the User shall take necessary steps as may be directed by the Bank in this behalf.
No endorsement of products. BTPL does not provide any endorsements or guarantees for any individual or entity using Chillr nor any third party, offers, goods or services featured on Chillr websites. Information regarding third party offers, goods, and services is provided on Chillr websites for informational purposes only, and may not be true, accurate, or reliable.
Communications. By installing Chillr Application User consents to receive all Communications from Chillr electronically and confirms that user can access, receive and retain such Communications. A Communication will be considered to be received by User within 24 hours after the time we post it to our website or notification is sent to the registered mobile Number of User. Withdrawing consent. User may withdraw consent to receive Communications electronically by contacting us through the Customer Care Channel as specified in the Schedule 2. If User withdraws consent, BTPL may at its sole discretion, prohibit User from using the Chillr Services.
